It is with respect and dignity that we at P.A. Lawrence, LLC. provides air services for the final journey of your loved one. We provide scattering service of the cremated ashes by air over an area of your choice. We have an office in Arlington Washington and in Anchorage Alaska to better serve your needs.

A favorite area is out over the waters of Haro Strait, just off the coast of San Juan Island here in Washington State; where the whales are known to frequent.

We love to fly over Mount Baker, Mount Rainier and over the dramatic views of the Pacific Ocean. If your choice is the Denali National Park and Mt. McKinley or the flat tundra of the arctic in Alaska we know the area well and look forward to accommodate your request with honor and respect. Sunset over Mt. Baker, Mt. Rainier, or the early morning hours over the Olympic National Park, provide dramatic scenic beauty with the changing light. A fitting tribute to a life well lived and honored.

While not necessary, a final farewell service at the airport before the flight can be arranged. Paul Lawrence will fly your loved one to your desired location and scatter the cremated ashes. If you requested flowers or a bio-degradable floral wreath, it too will be placed at this location. A photographic print of the area where the cremated ashes has been scattered can be purchased as well.

Cremated remains can be delivered to us in Arlington by the US Postal Service. Upon request, we can take delivery from the funeral home, crematorium or at any location of your choosing. These services may incur a nominal fee for our time and travel. We do require a properly filled out Authorization Form requesting us to provide you with our services.

Terms of Payment

Unless prior arrangements have been made with us, payment in full is expected at the time of receipt of the cremated remains and ashes. Payment may be made by check, cash, credit card or money order. All our services include a certificate of service.

Observed Memorial Release

At your request, we can coordinate a time to conduct the release during which the release may be observed from the ground at a location of your choosing. Please contact us for observing ideas.

Anniversary Memorial Release

P.A. Lawrence, LLC. is pleased to offer an anniversary scattering option. We will, at your request, conduct a flight to release flower petals of your choice over the original scattering location on the anniversary date of your choice (the original memorial release, the date of passing, or a date with special meaning to you and your family). We can accommodate any type of anniversary, for example; one year, five year, ten year, biannual, etc. Please contact us for details.
